League Operations Update

*MASKS WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED FOR PLAYERS ON THE FIELD WHILE PARTICIPATING IN GAME ACTIVITY*

WYCO is currently operating under modified rules and guidelines. Masks will be required for most individuals entering the sports complex. More information can be found here. These guidelines and requirements are subject to change based on guidance from the Unified Government Public Health department.

League schedules have been posted, these schedules are subject to change. Some schedules are not quite complete, we are still working to get details worked out.

Please verify your schedule online frequently for the most accurate field and time information.

The Jayhawk Classic Baseball Tournament will be postponed to a later date.

There is currently a 3 week processing time for all refund requests, for projected refund timeline, please visit our COVID-19 information page.

Unfortunately, due to low player registration numbers, WYCO will not be able to accept any additional registrations for our softball league. All players who have registered for softball will have their registrations entered into the refund que as  of 6/1/20, if it has not been requested already.

2020 Spring/ Summer Softball Program

Age Divisions:  T-Ball  ~  8U  ~  10U  ~  12U  ~  14U 
   *A minimum of 4 teams per division (exception: a division may be created in specific age divisions in cooperation with Basehor Field of Dreams when necessary.)


Individual Registration Opens:   December 1st, 2019
Individual Registration Deadline:   April 17th, 2020

League Begins: Games will be played Monday through Saturday beginning the week of May 18th and ending the second week of July (weather permitting).

Team Formation: Individual registrations are received and players are assigned to team rosters based on where the player lives and goes to school. Team formation will begin in March and conclude in mid-April.

Interleague Play with Field of Dreams

In cooperation with Basehor Field of Dreams, WYCO teams will be scheduled for interleague games with teams from corresponding age divisions registered at Field of Dreams

  • Practice Fields: WYCO Sports Complex fields available for practice for a rental fee of $ 15.00.
  • Game Balls: Game balls will be provided by WYCO.
