COVID-19 Operations

WYCO Practice Rules

  1.  All players participating in practice activities MUST be currently registered with Wyandotte County Sports Association for the 2020 Summer season.
  2. Only ONE adult parent/ guardian will be allowed to enter the facility with each player. Siblings or other minors will not be allowed to enter the complex.
  3. It is recommend that each player bring their own personal antibacterial wipes and had sanitizer.
  4. Social distancing (6ft) is required for all spectators at all times.
  5. Bleacher areas will not be available for seating. Parents are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
  6. Players and Coaches may only use the dugouts to enter and exit the field area, players should store unused equipment with their parent or spaced 6 feet apart along the outfield fence. Players shall not congregate in the dugout area.
  7. Team water coolers are not allowed, all players must have a personal water bottle.
  8. Players will not be allowed to huddle at any point during the practice.
  9. No handshakes. slaps, fist bumps or other personal contact player to player, player to coach/ adult or adult to adult will be allowed.
  10. It is recommended that players wear masks (esp. batter and baserunners), but is not required for participation.
  11. Sharing of equipment is highly discouraged and prohibited in the case of catchers equipment. Any shared equipment must be thoroughly disinfected between player use.
  12. The use of sunflower seeds is strictly prohibited.
  13. Teams are required to leave the facility at the end of their assigned practice time.
