The Softball Program sponsored by the Wyandotte County Sports Association, Inc. is implemented by a program committee made up of volunteers.  The Softball Committee makes recommended rule changes based on input from the previous season's team managers, recruits team managers, and assists in team formation.

If you are interested in serving on the Softball Committee, please contact Justin Cothran.  Without the efforts our association's volunteers, the youth sports programs would not be successful.

2012 WYCO SOFTBALL PROGRAM

FUNDAMENTALS, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND FAIR PLAY

1.  Rules designed for each age division to encourage instruction and development of
skills necessary for individual and team success.

2.  Players assigned to team based on where the participant goes to school and lives.

3.  All players play in each game.  Teams bat the entire roster.

TEAM MANAGERS AND COACHES NEEDED
Wyandotte County Sports Association depends on volunteers.

Team managers are recruited and team rosters formed by WYCO.  Our association is only successful when all participants are assigned to softball teams.  Girls miss out on the opportunity to play softball when WYCO has formed teams but volunteers do not commit to being team managers and coaches.
