Participant's birthday is between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2003. 
All players on roster must not turn 11 until after July 31, 2012
 unless currently enrolled in fourth grade.
 

REGISTRATION FEES  for the 9-10 Year Old Division are $ 108.00.
These fees are paid at the time of the on-line registration.

FOR ALL RETURNING 2011 WYCO PLAYERS:

 

1.  Complete 3-STEP ON-LINE REGISTRATION by April 1, 2012 to confirm roster spot with 2011 baseball team.

 

     Assignment to 2011 baseball team can not be guaranteed if all 3 steps of the on-line registration  have not been completed by April 1, 2012.

 

2.  If 2011 baseball team is no longer playing, moving up to the next age division, or player needs to be assigned to a team in the next age division, complete on-line registration.  ALL TEAM ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE BY  THE WYANDOTTE COUNTY SPORTS ASSOCIATION.  To request a specific team assignment, include details in the "Additional Information" section of the registration form.

 

FOR NEW PLAYERS OR PLAYERS SEEKING A NEW TEAM:

 

1.  Complete 3-STEP ON-LINE REGISTRATION by April 1, 2012.

 

2.   All TEAM ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE BY THE WYANDOTTE COUNTY SPORTS ASSOCIATION.  To request a specific team assignment, include details in the "Additional Information" section of the registration form.


3.  Registrations will be sorted by where the participant goes to school and lives.  Team managers will be
     recruited and team rosters will be determined by WYCO.


4.  Players will notified by their team manager of their team assignment and first practice.  Team managers will receive practice times on Thursday, March 29th.  Practice times and location will be selected by the team manager.
 

LEAGUE BEGINS with the Preseason Jayhawk Classic Baseball Tournament May 18-20th.  League play begins the week of May 21st and ends the third week of July.  All attempts to finish league play by July 21st will be made and depend on cancelled games due to weather and playability of fields.

 

GAMES ARE scheduled Monday through Friday and on Saturdays.  Rainout makeup games will be scheduled for Sunday, June 24th and July 8th.  Open field times during the season will also be used to schedule makeup games.

 

TEAMS WILL play twelve games 1 to 2 times per week. 

 

A GAME WILL consist of six innings or one hour 30 minutes.


PLAYERS ARE responsible for their own baseball glove and appropriate playing shoes.  The team manager will be responsible for uniform decisions. 


AWARDS WILL BE presented to the first and second place teams at the Annual Awards Night on Tuesday, July 31st at 7:30 p.m.
