The Baseball Program sponsored by the Wyandotte County Sports Association, Inc. is implemented by a program committee made up of volunteers.  The Baseball Committee makes recommended rule changes based on input from the previous season's team managers, recruits team managers, and assists in team formation.   If you are interested in serving on the Baseball Committee, please contact Kurt Cook or Brent Thompson.  Without the efforts our association's volunteers, the youth sports programs would not be successful.

Team formation will begin on April 1st.  Registrations will be sorted by where the children go to school and live.  Team managers will be recruited and team rosters will be determined.  Team managers will receive practice times April 1st.  Players will be notified by their team manager no later than Wednesday, April 7th of their team assignment and first practice.   Parents are needed to serve as coaches.  Without volunteer parent coaches, teams may not be able to be formed.  Our association would not be able to place all children wanting to play on a team.

The 2010 baseball season is just around the corner.  Before our association kicks off the 2010 registration, we would like to express our gratitude for your commitment and work as a team manager.  Without your volunteer our youth sports programs would not be possible.

 

Team managers will receive team packets and 2010 Participation Rule Books. Team managers will advise age representatives of their 2010 team roster of returning players.  WYCO Age Representatives will then assign additional players to complete each team’s roster.

 

Please contact each player on your 2009 team roster to determine returning players.  If your team will be moving up to the next age division or an individual player does not meet the birth date cutoff for your team, please advise parents to complete WYCO Registration Form to ensure individual is assigned to another team.

 

If you will not be managing a team in 2010, please contact the appropriate age representative and contact all 2009 players to instruct them to complete WYCO Registration Form. 

 

If a player has expressed an interest in playing on your team in 2010 but did not play with your team in 2009, please instruct the parent to register their child on-line and request your  team.  Do not add them to your team roster without contacting your age representative.
