2008 FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE
GENERAL INFORMATION
League Begins:
Teams will play 8 games beginning Sunday, September 7, 2008
Game Days:
Games will be played on
Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
Registration Fee:
$ 500.00 per team.
Entry fee includes numbered T-shirts.
Registration Deadline: August 25,

AGE DIVISIONS:
T-BALL
7/8 9/10 11/12 13/14
A minimum of four teams per age division to schedule.
Team Formation:
Teams will be formed
by team manager. Teams may be formed directly from summer team.
Teams will participate in the age division they will play in the 2009 season
based on an August 1st birthdate cutoff. If a player has never played at
WYCO, a copy of their birth certificate is required. A list of individuals
interested in playing fall baseball will be compiled for teams needing
additional players to complete their fall roster.
Number Of Players Per Team:
No
minimum or maximum number of players will be required for play. It is each
team's responsibility to field a team of nine players per game.
Uniforms: Uniforms will consist of a
T-Shirt provided by the league and baseball pants.
Game Balls: Game balls will be provided by the league.
FALL BASEBALL RULES
Games will be played according to the appropriate age rules from the 2008 WYCO Rulebook with the following amendments:
Pitchers are limited to three innings per game. One out equals 1/3 of an inning.
All teams at all levels will bat through its entire roster.
Free substitution will apply to all levels.
An inning consist of three outs or four runs whichever comes first.
All games will have an 1 hour and 30 minute time limit. Coach pitch will have an 1 hour and 15 minute time limit.

Upcoming 2009 "Spring"
OPEN DIVISION BASEBALL LEAGUE
The
Wyandotte County Sports Association is offering an Open Division Baseball League
for players and teams looking to compete at a higher skill level than
recreational play. Teams wanting to play in this division should be considered
AA level with USSSA Baseball.
UNRESTRICTED TEAM ROSTER:
Team roster is determined
by the manager. No residency restrictions apply. No minimum number
of players required. Players only need to meet the age cutoff.
SINGLE
AGE DIVISIONS:
Single age divisions will
be offered when team enrollment is 4 or more.
AGE DIVISIONS:
9 & UNDER,
10 & UNDER, 11 & UNDER, 12 &
UNDER, 13 & UNDER, and 14 & UNDER.
The date to determine eligibility for these divisions is May 1st.
GAME DAYS:
Team will play a 14 game schedule. League play will begin Monday, April 14th and end the week of June.
Games will be played Monday through Thursday with game times at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
WEEKENDS are OFF
USSSA
LEAGUE SANCTION
The registration fee is
included in your Team Entry Fee. The league champion in each age division will
receive an USSSA State
Berth.
TEAM
INSURANCE - Team Insurance in included in your Team Entry Fee.
GAME
BALLS - Baseballs will be provided by WYCO.
DOUBLEHEADERS – UPON REQUEST
Teams will be scheduled
for doubleheaders where scheduling permits.
TEAM
ENTRY FEE - Team Entry Fee is $ 1,200.00.
GATE CHARGE - $ 1.00 per person over 16 years old.
