WYANDOTTE COUNTY SPORTS ASSOCIATION,
INC. Wyandotte County Sports Association, Inc.
(WYCO) is committed to promoting amateur athletics among elementary, junior
high, and senior high young people of Wyandotte County. WYCO is committed
to encouraging the participation of adults in juvenile athletic programs as
managers, coaches, and sponsors. We realize that the value in amateur
athletics is not the score of the individual contest but rather the values
learned by the participants in the pursuit of the game. WYCO Is a Not-For-Profit, Kansas
corporation. Policies and procedures are determined by an elected Board Of
Directors who serve a three-year term. The annual membership meeting is
held in September of each year. The programs are implemented by program
committees made up of volunteers. Since 1960, WYCO has been providing the youth of Wyandotte County the opportunity to play competitive and recreational baseball and softball. Every attempt is made to place a child on a team and give them playing time in each game.
